ABOUT George kohlrieser

As an organizational and clinical psychologist and Professor of Leadership and Organizational Behavior at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), George Kohlrieser’s research is centered around high-performance leadership, teamwork, conflict management, dialogue, and negotiation. His expertise extends to being a Police Psychologist and Hostage Negotiator, where he focuses on managing aggression and negotiating hostage situations.

Heading the High Performance Leadership Program at IMD, Kohlrieser has transitioned from clinical psychology and crisis negotiation to executive education and corporate leadership training. Through his work, he has made significant contributions to understanding how self-mastery and social dialogue play a crucial role in helping leaders maintain high performance through continuous learning.

Furthermore, Kohlrieser is the founder of Shiloah International, a consultancy that provides integrated programs to a diverse range of organizations.
